Why Yoga for Trauma Recovery?
Often times, the weight of past experiences can show up in the present moment, whether its as ongoing exhaustion, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed or disconnected, and then some. For those navigating these waters, Stephenie’s Yoga for Trauma Recovery program offers a calm shore for rest and recovery.
What makes this approach different is its emphasis on safety and connection. In Stephenie’s small group setting, attendees learn to fold grounding practices into their day to days, all in a growing effort to increase a sense of presence, as well as gain a sense of safety, empowerment, and emotional reconnection.
Whether you’re new to yoga or have previous experience, you’ll find the space and support to release deeply held tension, manage emotional triggers, and begin the process of profound healing through trauma-sensitive grounded yoga practices.
“This isn’t just about yoga,” Stephenie shares, “it’s about healing your whole body.”

Her Yoga for Trauma Recovery series stands out for its intentionally small class sizes, creating a safe container where participants can reconnect with their bodies without pressure to verbalize their experiences.

Whether working with chronic pain, anxiety, or the complex aftermath of trauma, she guides each person toward building resilience while honoring their innate wisdom and capacity for growth.
For Stephenie, this work isn't just professional — it's a calling to create pathways for others to reclaim their sense of safety, agency, and wholeness in a world that often misunderstands the nature of trauma and its healing.
