About
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply slow down, breathe deeply, and nourish yourself with intention. This bespoke three-hour retreat offers exactly that: a chance to step away from the noise and into nature for an afternoon dedicated entirely to your well-being.
The experience begins with setting intentions and connecting with your breath before flowing into a beautifully designed 75-minute Nourishing Vinyasa practice. Under a canopy of trees, you'll move through fluid, breath-led sequences at a supportive pace that gently awakens your body while calming your mind. This isn't about pushing through, it's about building strength, releasing tension, and creating space within through mindful movement, deep stretches, and moments of restorative stillness.
After grounding your energy through practice, you'll transition into a two-course meal that's as nourishing as it is delicious; a nutritionist-designed, anti-inflammatory feast crafted with locally sourced ingredients that your body will actually crave. Plus, the social aspect of sharing this wholesome meal under the trees with like-minded wellness seekers adds another layer of connection and community.
The afternoon concludes with an optional opportunity to explore aerial yoga in one of three hammocks, a gentle way to experience movement from an entirely new perspective if you're feeling adventurous.
This retreat is designed for anyone who values wellness, intention, and joy, offering the perfect balance of movement, nourishment, and connection in Toronto Island's peaceful sanctuary. “Anyone seeking a pause from the busyness of life to reconnect with themselves, cultivate presence, restore balance,” Toronto Island Oasis’ Sierra Day shares. “It’s ideal for busy professionals, caregivers, or individuals experiencing stress or burnout. It’s suitable for those who are new to mindfulness, or seasoned practitioners — we welcome anyone seeking inner peace and self-discovery.”
