Led by Deb Taylor, this mindfully crafted 90-minute experience begins with gentle somatic yogic movements designed to create body awareness and interrupt pain-tension cycles. These accessible movements require minimal exertion, making them appropriate for varying energy levels and physical limitations. The guided imagery and mindfulness practices that follow help participants shift attention away from discomfort and racing thoughts, creating mental space for healing to occur.
At the heart of the experience is the sound bath featuring crystal singing bowls, whose specific frequencies have been shown to influence brainwave patterns, promoting deep relaxation and potentially reducing inflammation. The addition of rain sticks produces calming white noise that helps quiet mental chatter, while the Koshi chimes introduce higher frequencies that balance and uplift energy — particularly beneficial for those experiencing the emotional heaviness that often accompanies chronic concerns.

As a classroom teacher and wellness coach, MYndful Movement founder Deb Taylor is focused on mental and physical health from the inside out. A seasoned sound healer, yoga instructor, and trauma-sensitive mindfulness practitioner with years of experience across music, meditation, yoga, nutrition coaching, and education, Deb offers a holistic approach to wellness that promotes healing on both a physical and emotional level. Her specific training in trauma-sensitive mindfulness allows her to create a safe, compassionate space for individuals who have experienced trauma, ensuring that retreats she hosts, corporate wellness presentations, sound baths, and yoga sessions are accessible and supportive for all participants.
